About this tool
How Sitemap Checker works.
How we find it
We read the Sitemap: lines in robots.txt first, then fall back to /sitemap.xml. You can also paste a direct link to a .xml file.
What we validate
Root element, URL count against the 50,000 limit, missing locations, duplicate URLs, http links, other-domain URLs and missing lastmod dates.
Sitemap indexes
If your sitemap is an index of other sitemaps, we list the children so you can check each one.
